How to Pay Your Bill Online

Log in to the Mangaung online portal with your credentials.

Navigate to Finance → Pay Account.

General How do I report a municipal issue?
You can report a municipal issue online via the Report Issue page, by calling 0800 111 300 (toll-free), or by visiting your nearest Customer Care Centre. For emergencies such as burst water pipes or dangerous electrical faults, please call +27 51 406 6666 which is available 24/7.
Contact What are the Call Centre operating hours?
The General Enquiries Call Centre operates Monday to Friday, 07:30–16:00. The Accounts & Billing team is available Monday to Friday, 08:00–15:30. Emergency Services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Accounts How do I apply for indigent status?
Indigent status allows qualifying households to receive free basic services. You can apply online via the Apply for Services section under Accounts & Billing, or in person at any Customer Care Centre. You will need your ID document, proof of residence, and proof of income (or affidavit if unemployed).
Accounts Where can I pay my municipal account?
You can pay online via this portal, at any Pick n Pay, Shoprite, or Checkers store, at Capitec, Absa, Standard Bank, or FNB branches, or via EFT using your account number as reference. Cash payments are also accepted at any Mangaung Customer Care Centre.
Services How do I track my service application?
After submitting a service application you will receive a reference number. You can use this reference number in the Service Status page to track progress, or call 0800 111 300 and quote your reference number to an agent.
